As a 40-year-old single mother-of-two with an ailing mother to take care of herself, she stated “failure was not an option”. Alison, mother of three, has worked hard for this honor. When she was a teenager, she had five knee surgeries. The people who helped her were amazing, and she knew she wanted to do the same for other people. She worked hard on her degree while raising her children - how fun it must have been to all be in school at the same time! Dean’s List Graduate Sydney was drawn to the “fast pace and busy setting” of the healthcare field - and found an excellent training in our program. Bionca Hernandez has always known she wanted to be in the medical field - particularly in surgery. She owes that inspiration to an old softball coach. She has let nothing stop her from accomplishing this goal - including the news that she was going to become a mom during her externship!

We could not be prouder of our single-mom graduate Chelsey Gaines. She worked very hard in our Surgical Technology Associate program and made our Dean’s List.
