Employment Reporting
Stautzenberger College rigorously applies the following Employment Classifications to outcomes reported by all campuses that align with our accreditor guidelines. For annual reporting purposes, a graduate is calculated as employed upon verification of the graduate’s employment by a third-party verification company.
• The graduate is deemed employed when the school secures written or verbal documentation from the employer or graduate verifying the employment and that the employment is related to the student’s program of study at the school.
• The self-employed graduate is deemed employed when the school secures a statement signed by the graduate which includes their name and contact information, an attestation that the employment is related to the program of study and the individual’s employment goals, they are earning training-related income, and licensure (if required) has been achieved.
• A student who is already employed in the field of study at the time of graduation is deemed employed when the school receives written documentation from the employer or graduate that the training allowed the graduate to maintain their position or qualify for advancement due to training provided by the school.
The College calculates placement rates as follows:
(Employed in Field) / [(Program Graduates) – (Furthering Education) – (Unavailable for Employment*)]
* Graduates are deemed Unavailable for Employment in the following circumstances: death, incarceration, active military service deployment, the onset of a medical condition that prevents employment, or international students who return to their country of origin.
