Stautzenberger is proud to present President’s List graduate Brandi Caruthers.  As a single-mother and older student, Brandi has had a lifetime to see how addiction can affect someone and how hard recovery can be.  Brandi also shared praise for our instructor, Dr. Cailyn Green as someone “who was amazing, always there for her and encouraging”.

With amazing fortitude, Abena has risen above tragedy to graduate from our program.  She has been motivated to keep going after her son’s tragic murder last year.  She has started a non-profit in his honor and chosen a career to help people.  She was also inspired by her late husband’s passing to take these courses.

“It’s never too late to learn” rings true in the case of Sandra Nash.  We are so proud of our Dean’s List Graduate!  A hard-working grandma, she was nervous about attending school and still raising her granddaughter - but she did it with amazing success.  Her manta, “The only time you fail is when you don’t try” has worked out well for her - thriving at college is difficult, but she outdid herself with her hard work - and now reaps the rewards with a full-time job in her new career.

“If not for you, then who?”  These inspiring words led Jeffrey Beam to start his Addiction Counseling program here at Stautzenberger College.  We are particularly proud of Jeffrey as he has graduated on the Dean’s list.  He did this while overcoming his own addiction issues which is further proof of his dedication.
