We Proudly Present Addiction Counseling Graduate Jeffrey Beam
On November 16, 2021

“If not for you, then who?”  These inspiring words led Jeffrey Beam to start his Addiction Counseling program here at Stautzenberger College.  We are particularly proud of Jeffrey as he has graduated on the Dean’s list.  He did this while overcoming his own addiction issues which is further proof of his dedication.

What you Learn in Addiction Counseling

Jeffrey took several specialized courses in Addiction Counseling including Addiction and the Family.  He also took classes like Ethics and Boundaries in Addictions Counseling and Case Management.  This gave him a solid introduction to the field of Addiction.  He learned about:

  • Ethical decision making when counseling
  • How addictions affect other family members
  • How to coordinate, engage and disengage with clients effectively

How Our Graduate Became an Addiction Counselor

“If not now, then when?” Jeffrey’s second favorite quote applies to you too - you are able to start now and help many people on their road to recovery.  Our graduates are prepared for an entry-level position as an addiction counselor or in an addiction counselor related field.
