After 22 years of faithful service, Shelli Davidson was forced out of her career.  She saw this as an opportunity to grow her knowledge and capabilities and entered Stautzenberger’s Human Resource Administration diploma program.  She continued her education by getting her Business Administration AAS degree.  She relocated to a new home and job all while attending online school.  And boy did she succeed - graduating on our Dean’s List!  “While the classes were challenging, I was able to work them around my work schedule as they were completely online.”  We are so proud of Shelli and all her hard work!

What you Learn in Human Resources Classes

In Human Resources, you are the person who is a go-between between the company, employees and the public.  In Stautzenberger’s HR classes, you learn the ins and outs of working with people with classes like Managing Cultural Diversity, Compensation and Benefits Management, and Union and Employment Relations.  If you choose, like Shelli Davidson, to go on to complete your Associates in Business Administration, you would also take typical core classes in English and Math.  The classes in HR teach you things like:

• Possible cultural issues in the business world and how to handle them effectively
• Employee Compensation and Benefits Practices
• Employee Communications, Rights, and Disciplines including Collective Bargaining and Agreements
