Ms. Hastings completed Stautzenberger College's surgical technology program in December of 2018. She had to balance work and other commitments with her classes at Brecksville campus, but her determination drove her to earn her degree on time. Ms. Hastings completed her externship at the University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, Ohio. Capable of housing 144 patients at a time, the hospital sits on a 53-acre campus.1 Ms. Hastings is proud to have learned from their large staff consisting of 819 physicians and is eager to utilize the skills she acquired there throughout her life.

We offer an evening program option for some starts, and you could have the opportunity to practice what you have learned in a healthcare setting before graduation. Work with trained professionals during your externship who could even become your future employers and coworkers.
