On January 10, 2019

How hard are you willing to work toward your goals? Making career changes and educational progress could seem difficult when you have work and family obligations. However, for students like Emily Hastings, the results were worth the challenges.

Ms. Hastings completed Stautzenberger College's surgical technology program in December of 2018. She had to balance work and other commitments with her classes at Brecksville campus, but her determination drove her to earn her degree on time. Ms. Hastings completed her externship at the University Hospitals Ahuja Medical Center in Beachwood, Ohio. Capable of housing 144 patients at a time, the hospital sits on a 53-acre campus.1 Ms. Hastings is proud to have learned from their large staff consisting of 819 physicians and is eager to utilize the skills she acquired there throughout her life.

Stautzenberger College's surgical technology program could be completed in as little as eighteen months. We offer an evening program option for some starts, and you could have the opportunity to practice what you have learned in a healthcare setting before graduation. Work with trained professionals during your externship who could even become your future employers and coworkers. If you have the will to reach your career goals, do not hesitate to take the first step. Ms. Hastings tells prospective students that “You will be exactly as successful as you decide to be.”

We hope Ms. Hastings' story inspired you. Whether you are interested in surgical technology or one of the many other programs offered at Stautzenberger College, please come in and talk to us today to find your career passion. Call 888.859.8225 or submit our Request Information form to learn more.
