Unsure of where you may live in the future? We help students like Kayle Phillips prepare for careers that could be as flexible as they are.

Do you love to travel? Are you unsure of where you might live five years from now? At Stautzenberger College, we help students prepare for new careers that could be as flexible as they are. Recent graduate Kayle Phillips is taking the experiences she gained through the veterinary technician program with her as she relocates.

“I have just always loved animals since I was young,” says Ms. Phillips. “Working in this field was always something I wanted to do!” Her passion brought her to Stautzenberger College's Maumee campus. She struggled with “working and going to school at the same time,” but she overcame her challenges and found the time and motivation to study. Ms. Phillips thanks instructors Stacie Rickard and Kelly Roscoe for helping her along the way.

Ms. Phillips graduated from the veterinary technician program in October of 2018. She completed her externship at Tecumseh Veterinary Hospital, but “I was not hired because I am moving out of state at the end of the month,” she says. Ms. Phillips looks forward to taking her new skills with her and helping animals wherever she travels.

We hope Ms. Phillips' story inspired you. Whether you are interested in the veterinary technician program or one of the many other programs offered at Stautzenberger College, please come in and talk to us today to find your career passion.
