This associate degree in Medical Assistant X-Ray Tech (Limited Scope) programs is designed to provide students with the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills required for entry level positions in the medical assistant profession. The associate degree program includes training in office administration procedures, technology required in medical offices and x-ray imaging and techniques. The program includes a 160-hour externship in a local clinic, hospital, or physician’s office to provide students with practical and real-life experience working in a medical office environment and practicing professional procedures as required.

This associate's degree program is ideal for students with a diploma in an allied health-related field program (i.e., Medical Assisting, Medical Assistant / X-Ray Technician (Limited Scope) Medical Office Billing and Coding, Massage Therapy, etc.).

Program Length - 7 months
