As a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Licensed Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse, Ms. Szczublewski has an abundance of nursing experience. She was once the safety director for hyperbaric medicine at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center and also spent eight years performing in-patient hospice care. With all this experience upon which to draw, Ms. Szczublewski provides Stautzenberger students with hands-on, practical strategies for their continued growth and success.

Ms. Szczublewski specializes in teaching the clinical components of being a medical assistant. Cardiac care, minor surgical procedures, medical office emergencies, pharmacology, and specimen collection are some of her favorite topics to discuss. While the healthcare field presents some unique, stressful situations, Ms. Szczublewski provides students with essential skills and insight to ease their fears. By modeling empathy, responsibility, and determination, she inspires students to realize their potential.

Her medical assistant background provides a solid foundation for her teachings. Proficient at incorporating activity and case-based approaches into her lessons, Ms. Szczublewski has been successful in fostering student participation. She views instruction as a way to leave her legacy in the medical field.
