Antonio George’s inspiration for continuing his education and getting his degree was to show his children it is never too late to learn - and he accomplished his goal!  Always good with numbers, Antonio put a talent to good use by earning his degree while working 60 hours a week.  It wasn’t easy to work 60 hours and do his schoolwork, but we are very proud of the effort Antonio put in to graduate.

We Proudly Present Addiction Counseling Graduate Leslie Streeter

“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor and some style.” These words by famous author Maya Angelou has inspired Leslie Streeter to work hard and receive her own counseling degree from Stautzenberger College.  She is particularly invested in helping teenagers due to the rate of teen overdoses.

We Proudly Present Veterinary Technician Graduate Aubree McGrady

“Love them!” These are the words Aubree McGrady used to describe the excellent professors at Stautzenberger College that helped her graduate from the Veterinary Technician Program.  “They took time to make sure I was understanding the material and were always willing to help.”  A love for animals and a recommendation from a friend her senior year put Aubree on this life-changing career path.

“Isn't it time to do something you love?” The television hummed another advertisement, but this time I did not tune out. I watched the Stautzenberger College commercial play, the sound of my drumming fingers reverberating through the otherwise vacant house.

“Success is never final and failure never fatal. It’s courage that counts.” This quote from an unknown author inspired Jamilla Muhammad to persevere in pursuing her dream career.1 Jamilla began working with animals when she was twelve years old and never gave up on her passion. After enrolling in our Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technician degree program, Jamilla studied diligently and developed her practical skills.

We Proudly Present Practical Nursing Graduate Camille Jones

Inspiration comes from a variety of sources. For Camille Jones, the inspiration to start a medical career came from several people in her life. “My children and former manager inspired me to become a nurse,” she explains. Following their advice, Camille enrolled in Stautzenberger College's practical nursing program. Despite the challenge of being a single mother, Camille persevered in her studies and developed the technical skills necessary for her new career.

We Proudly Present Medical Office Billing and Coding Graduate Renee Moyer

Being a parent doesn't mean you have to give up on your dream career. Just ask Renee Moyer, a Stautzenberger College graduate. “I was working dead-end jobs, not going anywhere,” explains Renee. “Then the pandemic hit, and I was stuck homeschooling my daughter. So, I decided it was the best time to go back to school to better myself for my children.” Our online medical office billing and coding program made it possible for Renee to train for a new career while caring for family.
