Thanks to social media, I get to keep in touch with many of my Animal Studies/Vet Tech graduates after they have moved onward and upward post-college-life.

Were retro-dogs from the 1960’s & 1970’s less crazy than post-millennial dogs? It seems that way! If you are a veterinarian, veterinary technician, animal groomer, or any animal professional involved with animal welfare or animal care, you may be nodding your head in agreement. So why?

Let us start with some basics. HVAC?r is the abbreviation for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning. HVAC/R technicians repair, install or service the heating and air conditioning systems in commercial or residential institutions.  

It is no secret that our modern health care workers (surgical and sterile techs) are often true medical warriors fighting for the health and well-being of their patients every day. 

Many people whose paths I cross become my personal heroes. It occurs to me as I’m texting with one of my veterinary technicians about a sick shelter cat, many of my heroes are the vet techs in my life. 

At Stautzenberger College, we strive to serve our students and employers with both existing and new approaches so that our students are successful.

For starters, a trade school focuses on the job essentials for training students. The education curriculum of a trade school emphasizes on practical training and knowledge for a career than a general education like a traditional college.

1. Time

Spring has SPRUNG! Ah, longer days, greener grass, warmer nights, blooming flowers . . . itchy dogs, pregnant cats, bite wounds and bee stings. Yikes!
