Stautzenberger College offers many different programs. Potential students are able to come in and take a tour of the campus to see what hands-on classes we have. However, not everyone has the freedom or ability to balance a schedule between work and school. Having an education is extremely important but so is having money to put food on the table, so striking that balance is difficult. Often times, going to college is more of an afterthought for people than a concrete plan because they just do not have the time or ability to take off work. But what if I told you that you could do BOTH? SC currently offers online courses that help alleviate some of the pressures that people feel when making the decision to come back to school.
You read that correctly – you do not have to come into the classroom to obtain a degree. However, that does not mean that you need to avoid the classroom, either. Students who are currently enrolled in the online programs are offered the same extra help as all on-campus students. This means that you can meet with Career Services to get help with beefing up that resume; go to Student Services to get some help with housing or other personal needs; you can sign up for tutoring if you are struggling in a class; most importantly, you can participate in all Student Appreciation events, such as pizza parties! We also have numerous large computer labs that students are able to use at any time if they need a quiet environment to get their work done. There is also a student printer available, should they need hard copies of any of the work they are doing.
So what does that mean to you? It means you no longer have an excuse as to why you have not gone back to school! By being able to work and go to school in the privacy of your own home, you are able to do your work at any time of the day; you have a school schedule that is catered to you. Also, with classes beginning every five weeks, there is never an inconvenient time to start!
