New option to take more courses from home
On April 21, 2020

The coronavirus has changed the way people view everything from health to education.  Stautzenberger College had, and continues to have, completely online programs.  Because of this, we were able to continue instruction via Zoom for our on-ground programs.  Students have now requested an option to continue some of the previous on-ground classes to be online in the future too.

We are aggressively working to convert previous on-ground courses to online and give students the option of choosing the style of college that best fits their style of learning.  If students prefer classroom-style learning that will still be available, but students may now have an option to complete some courses online.

The courses we are converting to online are classes that do not require hands-on instruction.  When the State allows students to return to the classroom, depending on the program, they may now have two options to complete some programs: on-campus or online.  This means if hands-on instruction is needed for your program, you could come to the classroom for just that portion of the program. In some cases, it may mean programs that previously required 100% on-campus instruction could revert to 40% on-campus and 60% online instruction.

Below are some of the most frequently asked questions about our various programs:

Q: If I opt for some online classes, can I switch to on-campus classes later?
A: Yes, but depending on where you are in the class, you will finish your current class online and then you can do future classes on-campus.  But you will always have access to on-campus tutors and assistance.

Q: If I opt for on-campus classes, can I change my mind and switch to online classes?
A: Yes, but depending on where you are in the class, you will finish your current class online and then you can do future classes on-campus.  But you will always have access to on-campus tutors and assistance.

Q: Will I still complete my program in the same amount of time?
A: Yes. The program length remains the same whether you choose online or on-campus classes.

Q: Will I still have access to job placement if I choose online classes?
A: Yes. Our Career Services team members will actively assist you in finding a job regardless of whether you communicate in person or online.
