Instructor Highlight Maumee - Having a Degree Isn’t Enough

Having a degree isn't enough. You're finally ready to launch your new career, and you want to be sure you are equipped with the right knowledge, skills, and experience. At Stautzenberger College, we understand how important it is for you to have both classroom instruction and hands-on training. That's why we seek out exceptional instructors with plenty of time in their respective career fields to prepare you. One of these is Theresa, a surgical technology instructor at our Maumee campus.  

With over twenty-five years of operating room experience, Theresa is a valued member of the Stautzenberger College faculty. A Certified Surgical Technologist, Theresa holds a bachelor's degree in case management as well as a master's degree in management with a focus in leadership. Every day, she goes above and beyond to share what she has learned with the next generation of surgical technologists. During her own training, Theresa was inspired by her instructor, Ms. Beatrice Franklin, to pursue her talents. Theresa now hopes to create a similar positive learning experience for her own students. 

Theresa's passion for her career field is evident in everything she teaches. Her contagious optimism has brightened the days of her students and coworkers alike. We feel truly blessed to have her as part of our team and hope you will find her to be as wonderful an instructor as we do.
