How big is the healthcare career field going to be in the coming years? According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, there will be 2.3 million new healthcare jobs between 2014 and 2024.1 This growth is a result of numerous factors, including an aging population with increasing medical needs, and implementation of the Affordable Care Act which is making medical services available to a growing number of people. Stautzenberger College has programs to prepare students for a variety of entry-level healthcare careers with strong job opportunities.

Medical Assistant

Practical Nursing

Sonography - Diagnostic Medical - AAS
Career highlights: Use ultrasound to help diagnose disease and injury, and to check on unborn babies
Sonography - Diagnostic Cardiovascular - AAS
Career highlights: Use medical imaging equipment to diagnose disease and injury within the cardiovascular system
Surgical Technology - AAS
Career highlights: Assist surgeons and staff in the operating room by managing surgical equipment and prepping tools
