The 2010 Fall Food Drive

Posted on

On November 8-17th 2010, Instructor Patricia Henry’s Client Service Class held its Annual Fall Food Drive and it was a huge success. As a result of all those who gave, The Saint Paul Episcopal Church in Maumee, Ohio was the beneficiary of sixteen boxes full of food donations on the morning of November 22, 2010.

The staff and members of the church were astonished and excited to receive the food delivered by the students. Kricket Seiler, a Phlebotomy major, gave the presentation which was accompanied by a warm round of applause. Some of the staff members also expressed their deep and sincere gratitude by giving the students a tour of their church and showing how they service the community.

“It felt really good to see the smiles on their faces. Some of them were even crying saying, ‘What did we do to deserve this?’” one student stated.

The Client Services Class at Stautzenberger believes that community service is the foundation to excellent customer service. A special thanks to those who were involved in the decorations and creating the flyer.
