Spring Medical Technology Pinning Ceremony
Forty-two Medical Technology students attended the Spring 2010 Medical Technology Pinning Ceremony on Friday, March 5, at Stautzenberger College. Students preparing to extern during spring quarter gathered to hear instructors discuss externship guidelines and processes, and to give their advice for successful externship experiences. Medical Technology Instructors presented the following awards:
• Highest GPA – Linda Melroy
• Shining Star – Jennifer Twigg
• Most Likely to Succeed – Melinda Schroeder
• Butterfly Award – Angela Mouch
Upon closing of the Pinning Ceremony, students cited the Medical Assistant’s Creed:

The Pinning Ceremony is held each quarter as students prepare to participate in their externships and to finalize their coursework in the Medical Technology Program.
