Journey of Hope Massages

Stautzenberger College is proud to be a stop on Pi Kappa Phi’s Journey of Hope and to provide complimentary massages on the participants the evening of Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Massages will be performed in the Stautzenberger Massage Clinic at 1796 Indian Wood Circle, Maumee, Ohio.

Each summer, 81 undergraduate and alumni members of Pi Kappa Phi from across the United States cycle 4,000 miles from Seattle, WA and San Francisco, CA to Washington, D.C. participating in activities and events to promote a greater understanding of people with disabilities. Through team member fund raising and corporate sponsorships, the event raises more than $500,000.

This is just one of the numerous community events Stautzenberger Massage Therapy students, alumni and staff participate in each year. These events benefit students by providing “hands-on” experience on a variety of people outside of the College. The Stautzenberger Massage Clinic offers one-hour full body student massages to the public on Thursday mornings for a minimal charge. For more details on this event or the massage clinic, please call (419) 866-0261.
