Computer Technology Basics
This course begins with a broad overview of current computer technology. The initial focus is on digital information, privacy issues, ownership, and intellectual property rights of digital information. This is followed by basic training on common operating systems and exposure to contact management programs.

Heartsaver First Aid (CPR110)
This American Heart Association Heart Saver First Aid is offered to rescuers as well as anyone interested in taking the course. This course teaches the knowledge and psychomotor skills needed to recognize emergencies in the workplace and administer first aid. Some rescuers are required to take this course as part of their employer’s effort to comply with Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. This course may also be a requirement for others whose jobs involve daily interaction with the public. It must be renewed every two years.

Heartsaver CPR-AED (CPR120)
This American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR-AED is offered to those expected to respond to emergencies in the workplace as well as anyone interested in taking the course. Heartsaver Automated External Defibrillation (AED) is a comprehensive course for the first responder, designed to teach CPR, use of an AED and relief of a foreign-body airway obstruction.

CPC Examination Preparation (REV110) These sessions will provide a review of proper coding for CPT, ICD-9-CM, and HCPCS that should help participants pass the Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam. December 3, 10 & 17, 2011 - 9:00am to 1:30pm

CMA/RMA Examination Preparation (REV120) These sessions will provide a review of medical assisting information in general, administrative, and clinical categories that should help medical assisting graduates pass the CMA or RMA exams.
