Summary Statement

Our mission is to support career training and job development for citizens of Toledo and surrounding areas. This is achieved through active participation in community efforts to encourage career training, develop job growth and by providing training relevant to the local job market. An accredited, proprietary school, Stautzenberger College has fulfilled this mission since 1926.

Unlike traditional academic degree granting institutions, Stautzenberger College is recognized by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to grant an Occupational Associate Degree.

What does that mean? It means that the majority of your classes are directly related to your major area of study or "Occupation". It also means you'll receive the top training around because the best instructors come here to teach. And when it comes down to graduation time, a degree is only as good as its instructors.

We design our programs to allow students a progression for gradual outcomes. With the diversity of students that we enjoy, it is important to offer short-term certificate programs that can lead into degree programs, allowing students credentials necessary for employment while continuing their education toward their career goals.

As a leader in the local career-training field, we will continue to evaluate the local job market and training delivery options for our students. New programs and delivery options will be pursued in areas where we think we can best serve the community as well as our graduates' needs.
