Fall 2010 Medical Technology Pinning Ceremony

     40 Medical Technology students attended the Fall 2010 Medical Technology Pinning Ceremony on Friday, September 17, at Stautzenberger College. Students preparing to extern during fall quarter gathered to hear instructors and administrators discuss externship guidelines and processes, and to give their advice for successful externship experiences. Medical Technology Instructors presented the following awards:

• Highest GPA – Veronica Bramson-Burgert, Christina Siwa, and Charlayne McClendon-Williams
• Shining Star – Jill Linenkugel
• Most Likely to Succeed – Kathy Delmonte and Stephanie West
• Butterfly Award – Diana Nordlund and Karen Isbell

Upon closing of the Pinning Ceremony, students cited the Medical Assistant’s Creed:

The Pinning Ceremony is held each quarter as students prepare to participate in their externships and to finalize their coursework in the Medical Technology Program.
