This program is designed for a person who has a strong basic computer background. A graduate of this highly technical Microsoft Network Systems Engineer Program builds upon this background the ability to install, administer, maintain and troubleshoot a Microsoft Network System.
This program is designed for a person who has a strong basic computer background. Proficiency can be shown through transfer credits or testing equivalent to NET 102.
This program will prepare a student to enter the comouter support field as a network administrator. Depending on the graduate’s background beyond this curriculum, he or she may be ready to accept a position as an entry-level network engineer.
The student completes the course work necessary to take the Microsoft exams required to become a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), a Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA), or a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
These exams are offered on campus at the Stautzenberger Certification and Testing Center. Experience combined with training may be necessary before the graduate is ready to take the exams.
