ONLY WIENERS!
It was definitely the most soggy Wiener Dog Nationals ever. Despite the extremely adverse track and weather conditions, 54 of the 84 pre-registered dogs showed up and had a lot of fun splashing through the puddles.
Three rookies swept the Frankfurter finals with Dexter from Trenton, Michigan beating Dalilah from Luna Pier, Michigan and Rex from Oregon, Ohio.
In the Bratwursts (13 pounds and up) Sammy out of Woodville, Ohio was top dog with Kasey Kahne from Toledo, Ohio finishing second and Aloe all the way from Edgewood, Kentucky taking third.
