NEW LOCATION FOR 2008: THE SHOPS AT FALLEN TIMBERS
Stautzenberger College once again is proud to present
the Dog Days of September 2008 which will mark the fifth year of Stautzenberger's
involvement in this event and also the fifth year featuring the ever
popular
Wiener Dog Nationals. Admission is FREE as
always so bring the entire family including the dog(s) for a fun filled
day with plenty of activities and entertainment at a new location this
year at the Shops at Fallen Timbers in Maumee.
There will be contests including a Beauty Pawgeant, Owner/Dog Look Alike contest,
Doggy Talent Show and Dog Poo Bingo.
Dog-related vendors will
have plenty of freebies and great deals on products and services. Food
and refreshments will be available all day. Even Doggy Rest Areas will
be set up for the four-legged members of the family to take a break
and get some fresh water. Kids will enjoy crafts and activities at the
childrens area. Karnik Pet Lodges will be providing a shuttle to their
facility just behind Fallen Timbers if you would like to "check in"
your dog for a little while so you can do a little shopping. Dogs must
be picked up by 6pm.
Don't have a dog, or looking to add another to your family?
Numerous dog rescue groups will be represented with plenty
of pooches up for adoption.
If you have a business or rescue group that would like to get involved in this year's
event, please contact Scott Hammer or Brittany Welker at (419) 866-0261.
ALL DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH!
