Careers

Electrical technicians work along with electricians installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Basically they work with any equipment or device which involves electricity. They may work with electricians or electrical engineers on site to keep machinery and other specialty equipment working correctly. The U.S. Bureau of Labor predicts 34,100 new electricial engineering technicians will be needed between 2014 and 2024.1
