Dr. John Tannuzzo, Instructor in the Veterinary Technician program, was selected as one of the students and staff’s favorite
Dr. John Tannuzzo Honored with Everyday Matters at Stautzenberger College
Every day, our CEO and President of AHED Stephen Tave hears from members of our community about the many ways that our staff goes above and beyond for SC students. Our faculty helps our students succeed by doing their jobs to the best of their ability, sometimes so quietly and diligently that we barely even have a reason to notice their hard work. Now with our Everyday Matters Award, Mr. Tave honors members of our faculty for their dedication to their jobs by sharing the stories that he hears.
“Dr. John Tannuzzo has a reputation for being very passionate, and he makes students push their limits, but he is also fair and sensitive and makes things fun,” Tave said. As a part of the award, Dr. Tannuzzo received a day off. Tave shared that Dr. T planned to give that part of the award to the staff member who nominated him.
“That embodies real team spirit,” Stephen said. Hear more about how well-loved our veterinary technician professor is at Stautzenberger College.
Veterinary Technician Program at Stautzenberger College
The Veterinary Technician Associate of Applied Science degree program at Stautzenberger could prepare you for work in the field with hands-on experience, giving you the foundation you need to be a vital member of a veterinary health care team. In-house equipment such as digital X-ray machines and tools for bloodwork bring you out of the classroom and into the work you want to be doing. Completing an externship before graduating means practical experience that could be listed on a resume, giving you a further edge in finding a job.
Dr. John Tannuzzo is just one of the professors teaching at Stautzenberger. Among our ranks are practicing veterinarians and registered veterinary technicians who specialize in working with lab animals, equine care, emergency animal care, and shelter animal care.
